Bathroom installations
A bathroom you’ll love using
Complete bathroom refits, walk-in showers and en-suites, planned around your room, your style and your budget.
What's included
One plumber looking after the whole job
A new bathroom is a big decision. Loui takes it from the first measure-up to the final leak test: stripping out the old suite, running new pipework where it needs to go, fitting the new suite and making sure everything works the way it should.
You can choose your own suite or ask for recommendations. Either way you get a clear written quote before any work starts, so you know exactly what's included.
Bathrooms across Hertfordshire range from compact 1920s and post-war rooms to modern family bathrooms and en-suites. Loui will look at what you have, talk through what's possible and help you make the most of the space.

- Freestanding & built-in baths

What Loui fits
Bathroom styles and fittings
Whatever look you're after, the plumbing behind it needs to be right. These are the most popular choices.
Walk-in showers
Large glass screens and low-profile trays for a clean, open look that's easy to step into and easy to keep clean.
Freestanding baths
A statement bath with floor-standing or wall-mounted taps, with the pipework planned so nothing shows.
Wall-hung toilets
The cistern is hidden in the wall and the toilet floats above the floor, so the room looks bigger and cleaning is easier.
Vanity units & basins
Wall-hung or floor-standing units with storage, countertop or inset basins and taps to match.
Heated towel rails
Chrome, black or coloured rails that keep towels warm and help the room dry out after a shower.
En-suites & cloakrooms
Making the most of small spaces with compact toilets, short-projection basins and corner showers.

Planning your bathroom
Things worth deciding early
A little planning up front makes the whole job smoother and avoids changes halfway through.
- Your water pressure, which decides the best shower
- Whether to keep the toilet and shower where they are
- Bath, shower or both
- Storage you'll need every day
- Tiles or wall panels
- Where towels and the towel rail go
What to expect
Before, during and after
Before the work starts, Loui visits, measures up and talks through your ideas. You get a written quote setting out what's included and how long it should take, and a start date that suits you.
While the work is going on, floors and the route through your home are protected, the old suite is taken out and taken away, and new pipework is run neatly and tested. You'll be told in advance if there's any time without water or a working toilet.
When it's finished, every fitting is checked for leaks, the room is cleaned and Loui shows you how everything works, including any isolation valves.

Bathroom questions
Before you start
How long does a bathroom take?
It depends on the size of the room and what's changing. Your quote sets out how long the work should take, so you can plan around it.
Will I have a working toilet?
Loui plans the work to keep disruption down and will tell you in advance if there's any time without a toilet or water.
Do you do the tiling and electrics too?
Loui looks after the plumbing and installation. If your bathroom needs tiling or electrical work, he'll explain what's involved when he quotes.
Can you move the toilet or shower?
Often, yes. Waste pipes need the right fall, so Loui checks what's possible during the free visit.
Can I supply my own bathroom suite?
Yes. Let Loui know what you've chosen before you buy if you can, so he can check it suits your room and water pressure.
Will my water pressure be good enough for a rainfall shower?
It depends on your hot water system. Loui checks your pressure and recommends a shower that will perform well.
